Brigitte Bardot was born on September 28, 1934, in Paris, France.

Contrary to popular belief, her real name is not Camille Javal. The Bardot family comes from Lorraine, where her father, a well-known businessman, was born. Her mother was a housewife and focused on raising Brigitte and her younger sister, Marie-Jeanne.

In her childhood, Brigitte did not consider herself beautiful.
