Arguably the greatest step in Alex Rodriguez’s reinvention has been his post-playing career as a media personality.
So it only makes sense that, as broadcasting continues to evolve, the 14-time All-Star has branched out from traditional television onto social media programming as well.
Rodriguez launched his YouTube channel in January with the aim of giving fans a peek behind the curtain into his daily life at longer-form lengths.
He says he drew inspiration for the idea from a source very close to home.

“My daughters, who are hooked on YouTube, really inspired me to tap into the platform a bit more, and I must say that I absolutely love it,” Rodriguez says. “It really gives me the opportunity to put out content without being limited by the one-minute cutoff on Instagram.
YouTube gives us the ability to upload longer, more detailed content.”
